ANOTHER WIN FOR THE WORLD CHAMPS
Sole Survivors now hold both hammers

Sole Survivors proved themselves as still the number one team in Kan Jam after clinching their second Winter Klassic win. Eric Klavoon (Lockport, NY) and Steve Wojcik (Sloan, NY) battled through a field of 14 competitve teams, ultimately defeating Dorkus Malorkus (Bob & Josh Greenauer of Lawtons, NY and Hamburg, NY) in the finals, 4 games to 2. The World Champs now hold both hammers, and are still going to be the team to beat going into this year's World Championship.

The regular season consisted of every team playing one game to 21 against all the other teams. The top 8 teams were picked for the playoffs, with Sole Survivors at the top with only one loss to Team Rebels. In the first round of the playoffs, Top of the Food Chain and Schlampen both threw instant wins, but ultimately lost the best of seven series to their counterparts.

The Final 4 consisted of Sole Survivors, Team Rebels, Dorkus Malorkus, and Phileep. Team Rebels posted a perfect game against Dorkus in game 2 of the best of seven series, but ultimately fell in the series to Dorkus Malorkus 4 games to 1. Sole Survivors got out to an early 3 games to 1 lead on Phileep, but Phileep managed to come back to force a game 7, where Sole Survivors barely won in overtime.

In the finals, Dorkus Malorkus took a 2 games to 1 lead in the best of 7 series, but Sole Survivors won game 4 to tie it up. Game 5 went to 6 overtime rounds, where Eric Klavoon threw an instant win to win Game 5. Sole Survivors went on to win Game 6 to win the Winter Klassic for the second time.
