UNSTOPPABLE!!
Dorkus becomes first double champs

Dorkus Malorkus continued their dominance this winter by becoming the first double champs in Kan Jam when they won the Winter Klassic. Bob and Josh Greenauer only lost one game to Phil & Lee in the double elimination tournament, but won all of their best-of-three series. The final four teams included Dorkus Malorkus, Sole Survivors (Eric Klavoon & Steve Wojcik), Brotherhood of the Wang (Doug Recure & Jeff Wichtowski), and Team Rebels (Dan Klavoon & Brian Licht).

The final 4 showdown featured Dorkus Malorkus (5-0) vs. Sole Survivors (5-0), both undefeated by winning their first 5 series. Also, the undefeated Brotherhood of the Wang (5-0) would go up against Team Rebels (4-1), with one series loss to Sole Survivors earlier. In the Dorkus/Sole series, both games went to overtime, but Dorkus Malorkus won the series 2-0, giving Sole Survivors their first series loss. Meanwhile, facing elimination, Team Rebels beat Brotherhood of the Wang two games to none, giving them their first series loss. In their second game, Team Rebels posted a perfect game to stay in the tourney.

Dorkus then went up against Brotherhood of the Wang and eliminated them by shutting them out two games to none. It was then Team Rebels vs. Sole Survivors with the winner advancing to the finals. The series went to game 3, with Brian Licht just missing an Instant Win to advance. Sole Survivors prevailed and returned to the finals for the 4th consecutive Kan Jam tournament.

In the finals, Dorkus Malorkus defeated the defending tourney winners and won the Winter Klassic. This has been the third Kan-Jam tournament in the last four where Dorkus Malorkus has defeated Sole Survivors in the finals.
